What is Sage 50c all about?
The Sage 50c is a mix of all functions of its desktop based product and the features of cloud platform like anywhere, anytime access, advanced security, high uptime, etc. The product is equipped with all the advanced reporting capabilities of Sage 50 software and automatic sync of data in cloud. So, now all the updates and changes will be available to you on real time basis and you can access the company files, from anywhere, at any time and through any device which has internet access.
What does C stands for in Sage 50c?
Although the Sage hasn’t mentioned anything about it, but it is very much clear that the C in the Sage 50c stands for ‘Cloud’. The reason why Sage hasn’t made any official announcement regarding this is the Sage 50c is not fully on cloud. It can be considered as a hybrid between traditional desktop solution and cloud.
How it works?
The Sage 50c is having a Sage drive where all your data will be stored on the cloud platform which will allow you to access your data from any locations where you have Sage 50 installed. But to make it work, you need to make sure that all your license of Sage 50 are updated to the latest version. After that you need to activate your Sage drive from your office license of Sage 50 Accountant edition and once it is done, then all your data will be automatically synced between my desktop and the cloud servers.
